It's gone fool. Mr. Peabody's coal train hauled it away.

Never seen him, but like you, been a fan for years. He's great

Coal company came with the world's largest shovel.

I like Prine a good bit, but have never seen him live. Country hall of fame in Nashville had a small section of memorabilia when I went a few months ago.

Saw him in a smallish venue in Montreal .... 2005 i believe. Was fantastic.

I saw him live about 6 years ago. He was great. My parents just got back from seeing him and said it was good also.

Good deal. I've seen some past their prime acts that can't quite cut the mustard anymore. Glad to hear Prine can still do it.

I've been to about 10 shows, his voice has become much raspier since his surgery. I don't enjoy his songs for his vocal skills, though, so it's not a big deal.

He's played the Folk Fest here a few times. Put on a decent show.

Yeah, his voice has definitely deteriorated a good bit the last few years. Still a good show though.

I saw him in 1975 in the LSU Union Theatre. He was great...and very drunk....

He's on my bucket list of performers I have yet to see but must before I die.

Me too. I hope to knock him and Ralph Stanley and/or Guy Clark off the list this year.

In 2009 I saw that 311 and Ziggy Marley were playing Red Rocks, and just happened to see that the night before John Prine and Levon Helm were playing. I am a HUGE Levon fan, and had always wanted to see him, and always wanted to go to Red Rocks...so off I went.
Best show ever! Levon opened and was amazing, John came out and sand The Weight with Levon, then John came out with just him and two other guys, it was awesome! I had always liked his stuff before, but that night I became a FAN!
Red Rocks
Go see him if you get the chance.
