If you believe that Mary actually argues these issues with Obama (and frankly who really believes she does) then you have to realize that she has no influence on his decision making.
There is no evidence that he listens to her on energy policy, the Keystone Pipeline or on Obamacare.
So even if you believe Mary, then you have to accept the fact that she is useless, and a Republican to actually oppose the left and their policies would be better because while they wouldn't have influence on Obama either, they would actually vote against his policies.
But most of us know what is going on now is pure propaganda designed to make Louisianans that don't pay attention to current events, believe she's fighting for us when reality indicates she isn't.
