Do you say someone's name when you greet them or say goodbye?

Depends on the person.

In a business setting, always.

Casual, not so much.

I hardly ever say someone's name unless I'm mentioning them to someone else.

I never say names. Most of the time I dont remember their name anyways.

Just a "Hey, how are you?" "Alright, Cya later"

I do. and if just meeting them I repeat it in hopes it helps me remember their name

When meeting someone, ask for their name, shake their hand, and say their name back to them. You won't forget their name anytime soon.

This also helps when first meeting a chick, because it shows her that you are making a mental effort to remember her
