Saints Definitely Interested in WR Kevin Norwood

per Larry Holder
He mocked him 5th Rd with-
I've seen him play since high school in D'Iberville (Miss.). Tall and lanky (6-2, 198), but his 4.48-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine was better than I expected. Plus, the Saints have expressed plenty of interest in Norwood, according to a source I talked to last week.
Maybe means a bit more than just in for a visit

This would be a good pick up if he is available.

this board would implode again.

I've been saying I wouldn't be surprised if we went WR in round 1, just as I wouldn't be surprised if we waited until round 5.
I really think they are going to stick with BPA(within their bubble at the highest rated need position) even more than in the past(which was already almost all BPA).
I know most people will be pissed if we don't get one in round 1 or 2, but it may happen. All depends on who is there when we pick at each pick.

I love the pics. You see that gif bro? Picking on some scrub school players.

Oh the cool kids on Saints talk don't like LSU hahahahaha

You're the one coming into Saints talk with the LSU glasses on. I think the pictures show some of what the guy can do.
Bring the college stuff back to the college boards.

FTR, perfect troll for this board as of late. Bravo, good sir.

I'm sad I clicked this thread.
But I would love picking up Norwood in the late rounds. Seems like solid value for a good player.
I still want Jordan Matthews the most, though.

frick this guy. If it weren't for him we would have been able to play field position on 1/9 and maybe pull it out, and we definitely would have beaten them in 2012.

I think the Norwood alleged interest is just another sign that the two wideout theory for this draft is highly likely. The Saints probably take a 1st or 2nd rounder plus a 5th-6th round guy. The two will compliment each other and their needs.
If the Saints go for a smaller, shiftier WR early, a guy like Norwood makes sense later. If they go for a biggest target early, a guy like Wyoming's Robert Herron fits as a second choice.

Wait, this guy has played in the NFL already?
Posted on 4/14/14 at 9:26 pm to Patrick O Rly
That's the only way to beat LSU.

he'll probably see the field a lot more than most would expect early on.
I mean it seems like he is a good blocker so that always helps in getting more playing time. I mean Alabama ran the ball a lot and I haven't heard anyone say he was a bad blocker...
I kind of think he suffered because McCarron wasn't the best passer. Ever notice how often he would loft a pass?
