If the Army or the Navy ever looks on heaven's scenes, they will find the streets are guarded by THE UNITED STATES MARINES!!! Mf'ing Marine Corps!!

They're working hard guarding the poppy fields while the Taliban continues to return.

I was shouted "We run to the sound of fire" by my DI's in 05.
I think the Taliban just know what the frick is up. I don't even think they try to engage MarSoc, they call em "Black Diamonds" from the kevlars. But no them and the fricks in Iraq were pot shot pressure platers, because they didn't want to face the well-trained bunch with the fire in the eyes.
Oo-MFn-Rah!

GTFO!! The Marines, or any other branch of our military, are not politicians. They do the job they signed up for and follow orders...shitty or not. Dumb fricks like you that try and lessen their service and sacrifice are POS mf'ers that I'd love to "debate" in person. It's easy to pontificate from the safety of your sofa in anonymity on your laptop, iphone/pad while protected and defended by those you deride.

I never served and regret it to this day, but I treat vet's and active duty for free. And when I see a man in uniform out and about, you bet your arse I thank him, and buy his meal or drinks. Thanks to all that have served and especially to those that paid the ultimate price for our freedom. The vast majority of Americans thank you, appreciate you, and honor you.

I guess Injuns were in good shape back in the day but today they are all fat as shite, well over 300lbs and wear basketball shorts with heavy metal concert t-shirts. They are a joke!

Oh please, get off your pedestal. It doesn't lessen anything they did or do, if anything I, as well as Robert Gates in his book, use this story to reinforce the badassery of the Marines and how they are feared.
Also, say what you want, but the Marines need recruits, so they need promotional material.
Quite frankly I can't believe you don't see the irony in this line
