After spending several years in the rap game, Bryan "Birdman" Williams and Ronald "Slim" Williams have founded their own company known as Cash Money Sports.
They also have their first client in former Texas A&M wide receiver Mike Evans, according to TMZ Sports:
Cash Money Sports is officially in business -- TMZ Sports has learned the agency has just signed its first high profile athlete ... Texas A&M wide receiver Mike Evans.
Evans -- considered one of the best players in the upcoming NFL Draft -- had initially hired another agency to rep him ... but we're told Evans has now signed on the dotted line with Cash Money.

He should have asked Ricky Williams about using rappers as sports reps.

Stupid move on his part.

Whichever team drafts him is going to get one hell of a contract.

In a strange move that would serve as an omen for the weirdness to come, Williams chose an inexperienced agent from rapper Master P's fledgling agency No Limit Sports. As a result, Williams' contract with the Saints was a mess. On the surface, it was a seven-year, $68 million deal. But thanks to a convoluted incentives structure, Ditka's next superstar only received the league minimum for his first two years and $5 million of his $8.84 million signing bonus was deferred

With the draft how it is now, guys in the 1st round are already slotted a certain amount of money. Either way he is going to get the same amount.

Evans reminds me of Aaron Hernandez.

If NFL teams really use the Wonderlick test to help them with their draft selections, a player choosing Cash Money Records ought to make NFL executives have serious concerns on if this player can help their team. Making good decisions does not seem to be a strong suit for Mike Evans.
