I just bought a new 25 horse yammy four stroke. I had a 25 merc with a transom lock but it wont work on the new motor. The old lock is too skinny. Any suggestions???

Bolt the motor to the transom. That should be enough of a lock I think. I hope you aren't just clamping that motor to your transom. That's a recipe for disaster.

This motor will bounce between different boats at camp. One boat stays in the water at all times and one on a trailer at all times. Bolting it would be a huge PIA.

Fair enough. Just be careful then, my brother had his '07 yammy 25hp come completely off his transom and take a bath one day while running in the basin. He hit something underwater and the whole motor popped off...
As far as a transom lock then, I assume this is what you have that doesn't work on the new motor:
Master Lock Outboard Motor Lock

Damn. I've got nothing then.
Maybe mount the motor with a bolts with a lock mechanism on the end of it?
I am unaware of any commercially available products that meet your need.
