ALLEN (CBSDFW.COM) - Allen ISD is closing its $60 million dollar high school football stadium for “evaluation” after extensive cracking found in concourse.
Ahead of the 4 p.m. news conference called by Allen ISD to discuss “issues discovered at the Allen Eagle Stadium,” CBS 11's Andrea Lucia confirmed class activities have been relocated from the stadium and it will no longer be open for public use.

Allen Eagle Stadium opened less than two years ago, in the Fall of 2012, at a cost of nearly $60 million.
The stadium features 18,000 seats, 192 bathrooms and a huge 75' x 45' scoreboard with a $1.3 million price tag.

That's what you get when you have high school kids build your stadium

I would not want to be that general contractor or concrete sub right now... god only knows what it would cost to start replacing sections of that thing...

Or the structural engineer who fricked up his tensile/compression calcs then put a stamp on them.
