i have found the services designed for chromecast like netflix, youtube and hulu work flawlessly. I just can't get the damn cast from the chrome browser to work without massive lag and choppiness. I have comcast highspeed and I know comcast blows. Maybe google fiber will challenge them soon. for $35, chromecast does what it says it will and I like being able to go from one room to the next since i have chromecast on multiple tvs.

i love chromecast a ton.
i did have to get an insanely beast of a router for it to work solidly in all rooms throughout the house. my router is a monster and cost i think 150-200, but well worth it. it's a netgear nighthawk.
i would really like to be able to watch downloaded videos from my pc to chromecast and believe plex and realtime may be able to do this.. but i really don't know how it works.
