I tried a Google, too, all I got was copy of owners manual. However, I did just notice there is a way to find the estimated percentage of oil life left. So find that, apply a little middle school algebra and bingo!

5k. Not known for running clean.
You still have a warranty so...whatever the dealer says if that's what you care about.
ID offer more advice...but it might just be an attempt to kill off another Korean car. Bleh. If bill, hanz, or morimoto didn't put my car together...do not want.

I go every 3,700 miles. I know I can go longer but I'm tryna keep that warranty in tact because I drive a lot.

Tell her the engine manufacturers and the car makers that provide the warranty know a good bit more about oil change intervals than the minimum wage technicians at Jiffy Lube. Always follow the manufacturers guidelines.
I have always followed the manufactures recommendations and it has never let me down. You can extend it if your car normally does not take synthetic and you replace it with synthetic. I am noticing the newer cars are using a pure synth or synth blend.

5000 for me, company car. I have a 250 mile window on either side of the 5000. I I miss the window I pay for the visit myself

I remember when I was kid having to change the oil in my parents car, every 3000 miles I was under that car draining the oil and changing the oil filter.

Your lady friend is hot. Who cares about this argument. Let her win this one. Save up for the important shite.
And 10 k for me.

Does she always buy whatever salesmen tell her to? Bc that is exactly what she is doing with this oil situation.

Used to do 10,000 on the car that took synthetic. Well, more like every 2,500 cause that engine ate oil up like a MF. Just replaced the oil ever 10,000.
For the Prius, 7-8,000. I feel like 5,000 is a money grab unless you have an older vehicle. These days all cars are so efficient that 5,000 is for the guy that worries too much.
