Before the superbowl the NFL title game was played at a home field in December where weather was a major factor. No one ever felt that the winners were somehow tainted by the winter weather.

Football is a sport meant to be played in all weather conditions unless it is truly dangerous like lightening.

To say that the Superbowl has to be played in either a dome or warm weather place is ludicrous and to say that the quality of the game demands that is pretty wussy.

That was before people were paying $25,000 for a championship ticket. Would you pay that kind of money to sit in the cold? I sure as hell wouldn't.
