So we ended up put the battery charger on the battery which was sitting at 70 percent. Charged it to 90 percent and she runs. Can some one explain this to me? I'm dumb on this one.

You have to pour the gas ON it for it to ignite good.

Ha, now I got a warning light bulb out for the passenger air bag. Got a warning beep (5 times X 5 times) fault 37. Will have to remove some dash panels to get to it.

Spray
Crank
Truck starts dying

Spray
Repeat
For the airbag, pull the ground off for a bit and you might be good

great story!
I know. Going to bookmark to chronicle my life. Thanks everyone for the advice. I've learned a little more about my truck today, and that I'm poor plus Rangers are fixed at the demo yard. If anything else comes up I'll update the thread till it gets anchored.

System is computer controlled. Computer cannot operate below approx.9 volts so perhaps voltage was low causing injectors not to be pulsed by the computer resulting in no fuel being put into cylinders? This based on truck running with full battery charge yet not with 70 percent.. FWIW (not much) I've been a mech. for 33 yrs.

That stuff, a healthy dosage of Sta-bil, and a full tank of 93 oct Shell and my F-150 fired up on the first crank after sitting for about 3 years. All my yard and Jetski motors get Seafoam or MMO for winter storage...
