No other team in the SEC is even close.
USC 5
Tenn 5
Alabama 6
Fla 6
Auburn 3
TXam 3
Uga 3
I don't get it.
If you don't think this trend a problem for LSUs success I don't what to tell you.
Why such a wide margin between rest of the conference is my question.

I don't know, but what really sucks is that we got 2 years out of Hill and Turner

Les Miles is more honest with his players.

"this happens everywhere", "It's the price of good recruiting", "new CBA"
People need to stop being blind and realize this is an LSU phenomenon, and not a national one. This is a culture problem within the locker room. A "get mine" attitude.

LSU simply has more NFL talent. No other explanation.

Wasn't there some awesome stat about Les and the amount of players that get degrees? Man that stat is taking a hit.

This just tells me that LSU's draft-eligible players with NFL futures are smarter than those from the rest of the conference.

Not sure where you getting those numbers... Alabama has had more than 6 leave in the past 2 years.

bullshite. Last year was an LSU phenomenon, this year LSU is right there with Alabama, FSU, UF, in underclassmen declaring.

That doesn't fit the "Les is doing something wrong" narrative. Damn you and your facts!

I think it has a lot to do with the kids background. For a poor kid from the slums of New Orleans, it's hard to turn down more money than they've ever seen.

where are our National Championships then?

LSU has played and started more underclassmen than anyone else in the country. that may have something to do with it

Perhaps we should kindly ask Les to stop recruiting top-flight talent and to stop developing that talent so damn quickly. There...problem solved, amirite?

Why not just answer this question yourself? It's fairly clear any answer given that does not deride either Miles or the program will be considered the wrong one...so why not simply save everyone the suspense and tell us what the reason is?
