Some people plan for the next six years.

Some people plan for the next sixty years.

The NFL will always be there. His job will be waiting for him.

But all of them have a chance to improve their value and create memories to tell their grandkids about. When LSU is over, it's over. There's no going back.

Not to mention his ceiling is probably 3rd round. He comes back and plays a full (hopefully) 14 games, I think stock rises significantly.

I also think Turner will be the one needing convincing

No offense, but this is inarguably incorrect. I'd advise almost every kid who isn't a projected first round pick to come back IF you're not a running back.

The lifespan of a RB in the NFL is something insane like 3 years. You're basically doing everything you can to perform, stay healthy, and get to that second contract. You're not making retirement money of your rookie contract.

IF Hill comes back it will be incredible for LSU, and I will be ecstatic about watching him don the purple and gold one more year. However, he will undeniably hurt his NFL future by returning.
