Well, it was $150, which was cheaper.
I'm not that savvy on how to transfer to partners, but I do understand if you find a $1K plane ticket and can get it for 50K points or something that is a better deal than booking via the UR portal, but it seems to me for the less savvy or less traveled, the 1.5 is a good perk.

Welp, looks like I'm getting rid of my CSR come my renewal date in September.
Hopefully there is another big time bonus offer on a luxury card between now and then.
