He's prone to accuracy problems because he doesn't set his feet and rushes his throws because he doesn't want to get hit.
Jaws did a thing on RGIII a while back and compared film of him pre and post injury. We know how much he struggled with accuracy post injury but Jaws showed how crappy he was pre-injury as well. Dude has terrible mechanics, the knee injury just took his blinding speed away and now we see the worst case scenario for Washington. A super athletic QB that isn't really athletic any more. A guy that has ZERO concept of reading defenses post snap and going through progressions.
This is what used to drive me nuts about Jordan Jefferson. On a called throw, he was usually alright. If the called throw was taken away, JJ was basically fricked. There was rarely a second and never a third option. This is why LSU never "opened up the offense" with JJ, there was no way that dude was ever to be trusted with a wide scale offense.
RGIII is also OK on designated throws but if that play isnt there and he cant run fast any more WTF is he going to do?
