What a joke of a Bowl that the Orange Bowl has become. I bet there are more orange empty seats in the stadium that there are asses in the seats

What do you have against orange seats?

Nah! Jerry Jones needs to keep failing at football. Plus no one really wants to go to Dallas in January. The weather can be cold and snowy.
It's tough to beat Miami as a bowl destination. I mean people want to go to Pasadena, New Orleans, and MIami for fun. There's a lot to do in those places. Los Angeles has Hollywood and Disneyland and and the Pacific Ocean and Beverly Hills also.
Dallas really blows as a tourist town. I mean it's famous for JFK and not much else.

I think since moving the venue to Joe Robbie Stadium has depleted the history of the bowl.

Fiesta was Christmas Day originally and made so ASU could go bowling.
The historic big 4 need to be the playoff IMO.

The Fiesta became a major bowl because it didn't have tie-ins 30 years ago, so they were able to match up undefeated Penn State and undefeated Miami.

It wasn't specifically for ASU. It was for the WAC champion where ASU and Zona were members. They kept getting passed over by the major bowls so they made their own.
Wyoming made an early Fiesta and BYU was invited to two but only went to one b/c the other was on a Sunday.
They ended the WAC tie in when ASU and Arizona joined the Pac 12.
