Should the Saints make a move for Revis?

With Smith being hired in Tampa it probably means Revis is out so the Bucs could save 16 million. Love will bring his Tampa 2 defense and Revis is a man to man cover corner and wouldn't be a proper fit.
Not sure how far over the cap the Saints are but if true that Greer is hanging up the cleats could Saints realistically grab Revis when Tampa cuts him?

Saints could use help in secondary, Ryan I'm sure would love him but I'm not sure how far over the cap the Saints are. What relief would they gain from Greer hanging it up? Drew to restructure, etc

If he wants to come here and be reasonable sure. Our defense would be drool worthy with Revis, Lewis, and White back at nickel with Vaccaro and Jenkins at safety.
Although Jimmy is a priority first, so if that interferes, then oh well.

Do not want. Has been overrated for most of his career. Hasn't been the same since injury. Complains and holds out for new contract every other year. OUT.

No one.... I'm sure Tampa will cut him as he doesn't fit the Tampa 2 and by doing so they would save 16 million. If Saints wanted the contract they could trade for him but I doubt that happens. I think if he hits FA he wouldn't get a contract like he has now obviously that's why I am curious how Saints cap situation looks.

I'd rather resign Graham, extend Jordan, maybe even Hicks and then if there any money left, find an offensive line.

The defense played well this year. It's the offense that has let the team down

Not coming here is more reasonable. I guess drew thinks good players will take less to play with a guy who held out for every cent

I'd rather make a move for Jared Veldheer. Not sure how much he will get paid though.

LINKAGE to cap info again

Don't expect much more free agent activity than the past couple of years. My 2014 free agent signing suggestion: Nick Folk.

Pretty happy with my free agent recommendation from last winter... Shaun Phillips OLB signed for $1mil in Denver. 10 sacks and 1 INT

Not like he'll drop his salary demands to $3-5 million per year which is all the Saints could afford.

We've been more active than I thought we'd be. Butler and Lewis last year and Lofton and Bunkley the year before.

This year we will have to pay Graham and decide what to do with Harper and Smith.

I'm really interested to see if we try to keep Parys Harrilson or not and how much we have to pay Jenkins. I also wonder if they try to keep Charles Brown.

This.

If we lose Jimmy to money elsewhere you might as well get used to watching a mediocre 8-8 team for a few years.
