I binge watched American Horror Story season 2 over the weekend. I really enjoyed season 1 but I don't know how to feel about season 2. It seems like they tried to do every horror movie cliche in the book and tie it all into one story. You have....

1) Serial Killers
2) Insane doctors performing experiments
3) Demonic possessions
4) Alien abductions

It just seemed to be a disjointed mess at times and not as good as season 1. What is the board's take on it? Also, I have season 3 recording on DVR is it better/worth it?

season one - legit as frick horror series
season two - crazy as frick horror series, more fun than season one, but not as good
season three - I'll reserve judgement until it's over

Almost everyone's complaint... Too many fricking storylines going at once.

I've said before, if they dropped the Alien angle, and kept all of the other storylines, they should have done 2-3 seasons based around the Asylum. It would have been much better.

my exact words to describe it on here. but i thought it more a beautiful mess. disjointed as hell but i thought it was fun to watch. and i'm also one of the few that liked the ending better than season 1's ending which is the only really weak part of season 1.
