Does Terrance Magee Remind Anyone of Jacob Hester?

Watching the A&M game, I was thinking that he runs kind of like Hester - hard and low to the ground.
He seems tough as nails, too.
I really hope he doesn't think about going pro. I would love to have him back next year as the main back and as a senior. He has paid his dues. It is time for him to shine.
And, I say that even if we get Fournette. I don't think we will be able to keep Magee off the field for what he adds in blocking, receiving, and running the ball.

Hester wasn't half as quick.

Magee is quicker, to be sure, but Hester hit a hole hard and fast. Magee does the same and then some.
Also, they were both smaller backs that are very powerful.

Magee is gonna be a hell of a third down back in the league
But i dont think you have to worry about him declaring

After last year, I worry about every junior we have declaring.

Magee quicker
Hester more powerful
So no, not at all

My goodness I don't want to lose him. The idea of Jennings having him to throw to out of the backfield next year= PANTS ON [OFF]

Perfect. You hit it on the head. Both great RBs.

They seem to run in a similar way, as I have watched them.
Hester was plenty fast and Magee is pretty powerful. He can move a pile.
It occurred to me while I was watching his big A&M game and I had never thought of it before. Maybe it is just because he is shorter.
I love watching Magee run, though. He will be our Ray Rice next year.

Can't compare the two. Couldn't be anymore different than black and white.

No comparison. He's way faster and quicker and although tough too, small in comparison and can't run through tackles the same.

actually, yeah in a way he does.
Ware was always the best comparison to Hester IMO though.

Hester was probably 220 lbs in college, if not bigger, and Magee is listed at 214 lbs.

Sounds right - from the beginning of the season.
One thing LSU is usually blessed with is good RBs year in and year out.

I just wish we would give it to one back 20-25 carries a game....consistently.....and see how it turns out....
