He won't win but Cam Cameron was named as one of 45 nominees for the Broyles Award for the top assistant coach in college football.

I don't know about that.
Realistically, I think you can narrow that list to:
Pruitt (FSU DC)
Morris (Clemson OC)
Henson (Mizzou OC)
Cameron (LSU OC)
Nussmeir (Bama OC)

But...but...Les calls all the plays

I think you'd have to include the Michigan State DC as well.

3 losses. He ain't winning that award. He's done wonders with the offense tho.

Would be cool to have two of those on staff.

I'm just glad the coaches and players don't take the rants advice. Les rode that rb that some thought should transfer to victory last Saturday.

How can you say he won't win? LSU's offense is one of the most improved in football. The only significant change to the offense is him.
He is one of the top assistants in the country and has as good a chance to win as anyone else.

truth....that's because the other guy doesn't understand that a power run game is just that...hit the hole hard and deliver repetitive blows to the opposition until they crack. McGee gets it and understands that bringing the safety's up means bye-bye time for #3, #80 and #85. another added factor...olines love blocking for guys who run n/s. be the bull Jeremy...be the bull. JMSO.

I'd love for him to win. I just don't think he will.

He may not win this award (and I'm sure he'll lose 0.005 seconds of sleep over that), but here's the far bigger question: is there anyone on that list you'd rather have as OC?
In my way of thinking, no one comes close to Cameron.

My choice is Glenn Spencer. He has Oklahoma State finally playing solid defense.

This is their list of "favorites". No Cameron.
