One of my favorite movies but I always wondered why Grama was so upset KGB lost to Mike....what difference did it make as long as he got his money...?
Is the answer he'd rather kick his arse than have his 15k which he paid .30 on the dollar for?

I always assumed it is becasue he was a low rent thug and a count.

He took like 8K off Worm at the bar but didn't reduce the amount owed. He's in the business of charging arbitrary juice and keeping people on the hook. Someone comes even he makes less money in the long run.
Basically think credit cards.

Worm (and thus Mike) was his gravy train...with both out of the picture it's back to rolling figs in the village for ol' Grama

I thought it was because KGB backed him and since Mike beat KGB, Grama lost what would have been a huge payday.

I'd be angry too if I wore hats like Grama.

The whole premise of Grama didn't make sense to me. He bought up all this debt but wants to kill the person who has the best chance of giving him a return.
Then he takes a whole roll off Worm but nobody ever complained. Grama might be the stupidest thug in any drama.

Gramma was not real bright and was a bully (remember how he abused his dog). A guy like that would enjoy beating up a "pretty boy" law student like Mike McDermott. Plus I think he liked that Mike got screwed over by his buddy, Worm, who Gramma hated.

No he says at the end that he paid off his debt to gramma/KGB so he got his money...
I think the correct answer was from earlier that he was upset because when Mike settled up he lost his gravy train.

He wants everyone to keep being indebted to KGB.
KGB paid that ma'han his mahney, so Mike is out of debt.

I always thought he wanted KGB to reload and keep playing. Mike says something like I can go on all night busting you up and then KGB says pay him.
