Facts about Les Miles (Alabama related) - Let's talk this out edition

Heard this on XM91 this morning on my NOLA commute:
Just thought I'd share. I'd love to hear one of you anti-miles "fans" call in to one of these shows expressing your opinions on Miles so you can get roasted.
quote:
LSU fans are REALLY calling for Miles' head?? LSU fans need to understand that Nick Saban is arguably one of the best coaches EVER. Yet, who is the one coach who consistently gives Saban fits? What team has the best consistent record against Alabama? Which victory is Nick Saban always relieved to get? Which game always makes Alabama fans nervous? That's right. Les Miles was able to turn LSU into a program that can compete with perfection. Let's say he gets canned. Who out there will be able to step in and continue what Les has going at LSU?

Coach Hud would be a decent choice.
Just sayin. Not anti-miles by any stretch.

Most of these stations would never let a "nega" go off in the first place..."oops...sorry...time for a station break!"
You should know this genius.

Sumlin is much more of a headache than Miles. Last three meetings:
alabama 80
LSU 34
alabama 80
LSU 34

I've never seen Saban jumping for joy like I saw him Saturday. That was really something to see. I've only seen him happy a few times and it's always been when he beats LSU. He gets the most satisfaction out of beating us because he knows what a challenge it is IMO. He knew the kind of team we COULD be that's why he was so relieved and happy to get that win last Saturday. I wonder what his reaction was against Tennessee?

The record against Saban is a little deceiving. Yes, Saban holds a slight advantage with regards to wins, but you can throw out the first meeting since Bama was rebuilding in Saban's first year and Saban also destroyed Les when it counted the most. Les is a good coach, but to bring up his record against Saban is just something to try and fool yourself into thinking those two coaches are even remotely close as head coaches. Saban will be the GOAT, it just sucks that he is at Bama while Les is here. If he was in any other conference, nobody would be calling for Les' head.

O Rly? Miles has beat Saban while at Alabama 3 times. Who else has done that? Hell, who's beaten Nick Saban while at Alabama TWICE?? NO ONE.
And therein lies my point.

Sumlin has been there 2 years. How many coaches have had as many chances as Miles to play Alabama under Saban?

Exactly. That, and McCarron crying after the close win last year show how much respect our team gets from them.

Fair enough, but do you really think A&M would be anything close to what they are without JFF? He's gone after this year, and likely Sumlin as well.
ETA: And I realize they signed the #1 QB recruit in the country this off-season, but JFF > any "#1 QB recruit in the country".

Completely pathetic.
Would miles still be at Lsu if Tennessee didn't have 12 guys on the field in 2010?

Moral victories aren't worth diddly.
The bottom line is we lost both games. I don't care how much Bama respects us or Saban respects Miles, I want to beat them. The whole idea of us taking comfort in the fact that eventually Saban will leave and Bama's dominance will end, is just plain sad. We've got issues that we need to address NOW. Bama demands excellence from their coaches, why can't we do the same from Miles and his guys? Year after year, we see the same mistakes, the same sloppy play, the same unfocused and undisciplined players. Miles can fix these things, but first he has to admit that there's a problem.

Really the coach of lowly ULL. WTF has he on his resume? I mean has he beaten Oklahoma or Okie lite? Or Kansas?

This logic always cracks me up.
Let's give Saban a pass on some of Miles' victories, but we will gladly shove an undeserved Mulligan (that Miles would never get AFTER Saban lost AT HOME with JJ at QB) up Miles' arse every chance we get.
I literally detest our fan base.

Uh yeah... Take your own username's advice. Hypothetically, if not, LSU doesn't get led to their best regular season ever the following year.
