They cannot run the ball for shite, they just run it to keep some sort of balance with the offense.
I will agree that HC is a pass first offense, but they do average 146 yards/game rushing, with Spriggins having 573yds on 120 carries and Turner having 647 yards on 98 carries.

A lot of those yards per game come from Tabary scrambling his off he does it quite well. I should have stated against the better teams of the catholic league.

I agree with you that Episcopal is much stronger than some may think. I've heard that they are supposed to have their entire roster healthy for their playoff game next Friday. Episcopal has a great advantage having a solid ground game. Many teams load the box to stop Mubingirwa/Wisham, but then leave 1 on 1 match ups on the outside, which often lead to Roussel TD's. I wouldn't count Episcopal out even if Riverside gets their QB back.

According to MaxPreps, Tabary has carried 49 times for 84 yards, which seems a little low to my recollection, with the most carries 10 against St Aug

Salt's last playoff win in LA came against Grant
But ej has a lot to prove and a lot of motivation... 7 of 10 games they played went to a running clock... They outscored opponents 457-32...

Very true. Injuries have plagued the Knights the whole season but most of the roster should be back including Bienasz and Hebert both senior leaders who's lack of presence has been noticeable the last few weeks. Not to mention Kydris Washington will be back on defense. People are not giving Episcopal near enough respect. They will be a dangerous team for anybody in DIII.

This is not directly related to this year's playoffs, but has anyone heard about what the LHSAA has in mind for the future?
I'm hearing at Louisiana Sportsline that Henderson's plan is to pretty much combine 2A and 3A "select" schools into one division and revert the split in all other classes.
If true, that may get the support of all schools outside 2A and 3A select but continues the problem of screwing over entire classes just so that they can keep the Evangels and JCs of the state away from butthurt principals in various classes.

PBS update: starting TB is back. Freshman phenom *wink* will be first TB off the bench. 1 of the 2 linemen who've been injured (they go both ways btw) was back last week but the best of the bunch has been out since 1st game of the season and will be throughout playoffs.
What's your feeling on NDvsPBS this year? How does PBS stack up against last year's team? Strengths/Weaknesses? TIA

If it wasn't for Katrina he'd still be with us imo... And we'd have beat y'all 5 times and gone to the dome at least once...
There is something to be said for the public school retirement system imo, as well as ej probably being 5a in two years...
Salt has a comparably low stress job as opposed to what holy.cross is... The expectations would be saban-at-bama esque

another HC grad, Gabe Fertitta has taken St Stanislaus from an 0-10 season last year, to now sitting at 11-0 this year, but he is really young, so not sure if he will get a real look when the time comes

many of the 2a selects would balk at this....big time
and the 5a selects don't want curtis or eca either..

PBS lost a 3 year starter at QB... and a previous state title game MVP. couple that with some of the injuries they have had.....

I thought they returned their whole line on both sides? How is the QB looking this year?

he just seems like a jolly old man from seeing him on tv and the one game i was on his sideline doing the chains
if he didn't have heart problems i'd give him a few more years coaching
