As long as he doesn't end up at A&M, I'm fine.

Florida is bad enough. Hopefully Texas gets a good enough hire to get this kid on board.

The only way I wouldn't be upset if Hootie went to Bama is if we got Adams.

This doesn't bode well on the Hootie front.

Surprised it took 8 replies to get something like this.

This has nothing to do with how the staff feels about Hootie. Heaven forbid we have a backup plan on the off chance we lose someone

If we start acting like its ok for a kid to join bama instead of us you are pushing the Lsu program downhill

It is okay for a Louisiana kid to go to Alabama. LSU doesn't claim stake over the state of Louisiana. Just like Texas, A&M, etc doesn't claim stake over the state of Texas..or Florida, Miami, Florida St, etc.

It's a stupid narrow minded thought process.

Eddie P must be doing work. I always felt like Jamal Adams was a prospect that should have higher interest in LSU.

Are you going to give the same middle finger to Ed Paris, Tony Brown, Clifton Garrett, Devin Voorhies, etc when they come to LSU? Bet you're glad Patrick Peterson didn't have the same mindset you have.

LulZ. Clifton should go to Illinois because of their great program and great LB coach?

He's in extremely close proximity to tOSU.

Why didn't you reply to me about the other recruits I put?

I want LSU to lock down the top 15 every year and get what they need OOS that Louisiana does supply. That's just a pipe dream now adays. When Saban was locking down the state, Texas was just starting it's rise again. Texas A&M wasn't a force, and he wasn't recruiting against a coach like himself at Alabama, with equal or better resources.

It's really hard to hold onto the top talent now. Just because I can acknowledge that, doesn't mean I want LSU to lose recruits to Alabama. I'm being realistic.

TOSU plays in a crappy league and won't even make the title game going undefeated. Why would you wanna to there.

If you're going to kiss their arse throughout the entire recruiting process, then trash them when they sign with a school they feel is better for them, it's pathetic.

To claim they shouldn't go to an OOS school "because we have equal or better facilities" is stupid considering our recent success in Texas, Florida, etc.
