Last I heard they were losing. Stud RB was out with an injury. That's all I was told tho.

we were there on the ea side of the field.looked really bad at first.had to literally be carried off. after halftime he came out on crutches with no ice or wrap on leg. was laughing and smiling with teammates...love how he had his own personal bodyguard.

Damn, WM struggles with a struggling Calvary Baptist team

Their 4 DL were 270-340 with 3 over 300lbs. Not sure where this struggling bit comes from exactly. If they were playing a shite schedule and rolling everyone would say tonight was a good game. Props to Calvary for stepping up their schedule. Calvary's losses have come to 5-0 5A Parkway, 5-0 4A St Thomas More, 5-0 5A Byrd, and West Monroe. Not many teams could beat those 4 teams.

Dutchtown/Rummel was a tale of 2 halves.
Rummel dominated first half. Led 21-0. Could have been about 31-0.
Dutchtown dominated the 2nd half. Tied it with 14 seconds left in the game. 21-21.
Rummel missed the FG to tie the game in 2OT.
Dutchtown was deader than dead at halftime. I have no idea how Rummel let them come back.

Parkway 41 BTW 0
Brandon Harris struggled tonight with 2 fumbles and 2 interceptions. Parkway had too many penalties and costly mistakes. Poor BTW only dressed out 35 kids there must have been 10 time outs for injuries. 2 of their kids were transported to the Hospital by ambulance. Nothing serious looking which is good. Well, on the bright side, Parkway's D showed up tonight. Next week Captain Shreve.

Jones is a damn good. He's helped to bring McMain from the dead. He'd be a good pick up for Tulane or Any other state school not named LSU.

Maybe there was nothing they could do about it

Shocked the Hell out of me. The first half was like the Destrehan game, and Dutchtown just made it worse in the second half. They didn't quit this time, though, and they punched them in the mouth on offense. They finally starting making big plays on offense with all the speed they have. The O-line proably played the best game of the season.
5-5A is going to be interesting. At the beginning of the year, everybody said the order would be Catholic/EA/Dutchtown/everyone else. From what I have seen, those 3 teams are in a dead heat if Palelei is healthy, St. Amant is not that far behind, and it wouldn't surprise me if all the Ascension Parish schools in the district make the playoffs.
