Im not ready to put it all on the DB coach. He could be telling them all the right things, but if they have mental breakdowns in games or just dont have the inherent talent some past players have... then it doesn't matter what the coach teaches. I promise none of our coaches taught TM7 how to do the things he did. Obviously they taught him their play calls and where to be... but a huge part of his game was his own instincts. I don't really see any of our current DBs having good instincts other than White, but hes still a true freshman.

Agreed, you can't teach instincts. But all of our DBs have regressed since Cooper left. Plain and simple. Loston just needs to open his fricking arms instead of acting like he's diving into the ocean. Every. Single. Time.

You'll be ready soon. The entire secondary has been toast since last season. They're confused, don't know the coverages or what their responsibilities are. Calls are coming in late. It's just mass confusion, which goes back to coaching. Raymond/Chavis better simplify things in a hurry or it's going to be ugly the rest of the season. Don't care if he's a former LSU player, Raymond is not technically coaching up to LSU standards. It's an established pattern now. Not just one game.
