It's obvious. Dennis Allen hates LSU

Should have stayed in Green Bay holding a clipboard.

I don't see Flynn not having a good work ethic (studying defenses, training, practice preparation etc).
Flynn is in a no-win situation.
Seahawks wanted mobility, so they turned to Russell Wilson over Flynn. Not his fault; he sits in the pocket and throws darts.
Oakland is wanting the same thing that Seattle got and preferred Prior.
I agree with an earlier poster; Jacksonville and/or Saint Louis would take Flynn in a heart beat.
He's clearly got talent, he just hasn't gotten the opportunity yet.

And still got paid 10 and 6 million dollars. Invest that shite and live a long injury free life continuing to probably bounce around the league as a backup.

Jacksonville maybe, But the Rams would not be a good fit. Flynn is not better than Bradford.

Take off the purple and gold glasses for one second and be realistic about the situation. He isn't a starting NFL quarterback. He was signed to be the guy in Seattle and was beaten out by a rookie quarterback. He was signed to be the guy in Oakland and was beaten out by Terrelle freaking Pryor. He threw a lot of touchdowns for the Packers in that one meaningless game against that bad defense that time. Big freaking deal. Seriously you guys sound like Bama fans blindly defending Mark Ingram. Down vote away

Trade Flynn for Freeman. Everybody is happy.

Maybe Atlanta if Matty Ice got hurt. I'm thinking out loud at teams that would need more of a pocket passer.
It sucks because JaMarcus Russell has all the talent in the world and squandered it (not sure if he'll ever make it back to playing in the NFL).
Matt Flynn seems to come off as a blue collared, bust his arse attitude to get these opportunities.
I'd like to see Flynn succeed.

as I said it's pretty hard to gauge someone when the team is a shite team. He was out played in Seattle by a smart, intelligent, special player there. nothin to b ashamed about, but Oakland is and has been a shite team. Flynn can play in the NFL.

This. His Redskins abortion on Sunday was the worst non-Blaine Gabbert NFL QB performance I've seen.

Seriously?
He was signed as a FA with Seattle based off of his performance in TWO games, and with the expectation that he would be the starter. Simply put, he was beaten out by a better QB.
He then was traded to a team desperate for a QB again with the expectation that he would be the starter. Once more he was beaten out of the job.
I like Flynn and would love to see him succeed, but to say he hasn't gotten an opportunity yet is incorrect. St. Louis and Jacksonville might "need" him right now, but the same exact thing could have been said about Seattle and Oakland before he joined those teams. Unfortunately, I think he'll go down as just another "flash in the pan" backup QB who was never cut out to be an NFL starter.

The Oakland Raiders are the poster child for fatally dysfunctional business organizations.

Atleast he made some good bank and is injury free.

"His Redskins abortion on Sunday was the worst non-Blaine Gabbert NFL QB performance I've seen."
I did not get to see his game on Sunday, but it seems unlikely from the stats that this could be true. If I recall his line, it was 21/32, 227 yds, and no picks. QBR in the 80's, I think, even with a fumble and 7 sacks. Is that really the worse non-Gabbert performance you've seen?
This is not a rhetorical question. Maybe it really did look that bad.

"Jacksonville would probably love to have Flynn right now."
Considering they will have the #1 pick in the draft, it makes sense. They can sign Flynn to a big contract, then draft a QB #1 who will outperform Flynn from Day 1.
