I'm more interested in the kid that takes the terrible angle and takes out half his team.

Where do these kids come from? At seven and eight, I knew what a stiff arm and juke were about as well as I knew a foreign language.

Tell me about it. At that age, I knew what direction to run. This kid laid the lumber on a way bigger kid, jukes another out of his cleats and then threw a beautiful stiff arm on the last kid. And that other kid got a nice block at the end. Kid's are either picking up things at a younger age or the coaching is getting way better.

As a former youth football coach, I can tell you a lot of the coaches at that level are scumbags. Good majority of them find any and all ways to cheat or gain an advantage. I remember one team literally started a 15 year old kid as their QB in a seven and eight year old league. The shocking part is that they got away with it for three to four games.

Is that a DJ Welter highlight tape? Mike linebacker #11 plays just like him.

quote:I would hope that those league's are few and far between, but I'm sure they have some like that a lot of places. Sad for the kids who are actually playing in the right age group. Shame on those shady coaches. Teaching those kids to lose their honor and dignity before they even know what those things are.
