He is a PRACTICE warrior and I don't mean exhibition action. He must just be an outspoken guy who does all the right things in drills and knows his schemes. When this guy gets on the field though, he's a complete disappointment.
he absolutely has been
I hope the guy plays well, I just don't see it.

I fricking hate threads like these. Everyone shitting on a player when 99% have never seen the kid play a down. Glad everyone on here knows more than Chavis & Les!

1) Still has to be the guy playing QB. Until he can prove that he can be consistent then he worries me a bit.
2) Anytime you replace an All-American middle linebacker with a guy who has played 1 game in the last 20 months, had 2 tackles in that game, and has a total of 7 tackles in his career... You should be at least a little worried.
3) Lastly, I guess (if I had to pick 3) it would be the PK position though LSU typically just has another guy step up when someone leaves.
Definitely these 3. Even though it's Mett, TCU has a fairly good secondary. I still think he goes for 220+ but we probably won't be beating them deep. The run game will be the key.

What I'm worried about is that it might take injury to him to supplant him as the starter.
Can you expand upon that? Was that a dig at Les? At Chavis?

Top 3 guys I'm most worried about starting
1. Les starting to run the offense.
2. Cam starting to ignore the pass.
3. Chavis starting to run his prevent.
Not real worried about anyone starting just the injuries, I trust our coaching staff, but if I had to pick three players.
1. Welter - for same reasons as most.
2. Tahj Jones - undersized at 205. Kwon has 15- 20 lbs on him.
3. Elliot Porter - those fumbled snaps.
