My first Franchi was the AL48 that was passed down from my Grandfather. My first Auto loader duck gun was the Franchi 612. I upgraded to the 912 to be able to shoot 3 1/2 inch shells. Then on the the SBE I, II, and now Vinci. I have since sold the 912 and SBE I. I still shoot the AL48 and 612 and would recommend the Franchi to anyone wanted a cheaper autoloader.
