what is your grounds:water ratio? I've seen several, anywhere from 1:3 to 1:4.5
thanks

It is not a ratio you need to follow given most models of brewer. Put a lb into the base and fill the top part to the marked line on the top piece. Let the water drain into the bottom and go for twelve hours then drain.. Repeat the water process again but go for 24 hours of steeping, mix A and B together. For a cup pour about 1/4 off the volume of the mug, add water, nuke for a minute.

I don't do this often, but when I have done it in the past I brew at 2.5 times the usual strength and then fill the container with ice. The ice melts fairly quickly and after pouring over additional ice with a little milk, it usually tastes decent.
But in reality I have found it is easier just to buy it.

1 lb. of coffee, 72 ozs. of cold water. I let mine steep for 24 hours.
ETA: I use a Toddy now, but I've also done it in a glass bowl. Filter through a strainer once, then through a coffee filter a second time. A little sediment will settle to the bottom, but just dump it when you get to the end.

Thank me later.
And yes, adding a few springs of mint will take your coffee to another level. It sounds weird AF, but trust me.

I use 1:4, but in all honesty. Its much cheaper to buy "cold brew" brand with the measured container. Dont buy New Orleans brand. Its crap.

I don't make cold brew, but Stumptown cold brew is awesome.
