I don't mind Hokie as a guy. He just adds nothing to the broadcast or when he's on wwl weekdays.

You get no in game analysis and when he's on during weekdays you get nothing from him. He offers no opinions on anything when people ask. Everything is "I trust the staff, they know better than me." He's right about that and its admirable that he's not a know it all blowhard, but he's on the radio, not in the huddle or on Payton's staff. He can question what's going on every once and a while.

During a commercial break at Draftfest 2005, the line to get the Cannon's autograph was excessive.

A young Uptown Oyster approached Hokie at the booth and asked him to autograph a poster for me. Hokie replied: "What the hell you want my autograph for, kid?"
