already a top recruit he didn't need to switch to a special school
I agree
someone posted on the rb a long time ago to look out for prime prep kids not making the grade or being ineligible or something like that.
why even take that chance?

I guess Ill bend over now.

That sounds like some BS. The article even says the players had good grades. I hope the players win their appeals. I also wonder if those other 2 players in the next 2 classes start looking at going to a different school.

That's a shame but better him than Martin or Quarterman IMO
I disagree. I think Mickey, with his game, was going to make the the most immediate impact. 6'8, athletic defender who could also knock down the mid-range shot. I think Martin and Quarterman are going to be good, but it's probably going to take them a little longer to adjust to the college game.
I feel for the kids. They get misled by these sleezy adults who "cough....have the kids' best interests in mind" and are the ones who end up paying the price. The Prime Preps, Finley Preps, and (insert name here) Preps are nothing more than offshoots of AAU groups trying to pose as ligitimate educational institutes

Hopefully they'll win the appeal. We need this kid

the NCAA is usually understanding and quick to act on these type of things.....

Hoping he is able to win an appeal.

It looks like LSU needs to buy the Premium Membership to the NCAA. Chicken do you have the inside scoop on this?

I just don't understand these Prep Schools. Sucks if Mickey can't play. Only time will tell.

Martin is a lot better than Mickey at this point. Better Mickey than Martin imo.
High school/AAU basketball is a shady business.

And the ones that suffer are the athletes. Deion Sanders won't get in any trouble over lying to these guys and fricking up their careers.

Hoping worst case scenario Mickey will be eligible for the spring semester and would be available for SEC play. Stromile went through the same thing his freshmen year. This is bullshite though!

WTF
The NCAA now regulates state's department of education and says what school or eligible. Fricking Bullshite
