What I should have said was Battier's place in their small ball offense. Basically, instead of having a guy who sets screens and spots up in the corner, they would have a guy who can spot up, but they could also run their offense through. Lebron and Melo could be interchangeable in the sets they run for Lebron, especially when it's designed to get him in the post.
