I know of a skeeter fiberglass boat n motor, both 1990 models that run and perform perfectly. It's kept in a garage at all times.
So glass can indeed last, but it's gotta stay out of the sun.
Aluminum will not degrade in the sun like glass will.
I have an aluminum and I prefer it over glass for its longevity And it's durability.
