Always fun to get a match to watch during he week. I'll have to black myself out at some point this afternoon since I won't be able to watch til tonight

Watched first half on my phone and followed second half on the plane via twitter... Nerve racking to say the least...
But, 7 on the bounce!!!

Well that was not easy
Not easy, but the ref made some god awful calls. Should have been straight red on the tackle on Suarez + Suarez was denied a PK.

Suarez was denied a PK.

Sorry haven't posted as much as last year, been busy with the job, but just wanted say what a magestierical season we've had so far.
Ugly win Wednesday but 3 points none the less and now we have Spurs come Sunday ... I'll take an ugly win every match from now to the end just as long as Liverpool fricking win, amirite?
Anyway we are in special terrioty boys, one that we haven't seen in what seems to be eons. I hope beyond hope we can aspire to achieve our dreams but in lieu of that not happening I'll be just as happy to have been drug out of purgatory by Brendan Rodgers & company to the exalted Champions League place we have so long deserved.
Things are so bright at Anfield and I am just so happy to watch it all unfold. Here's to a hectic eight final matches and the anxiety that comes with finally being in a title race once again. Cheers you Red Men and lest we forget ... YNWA!!!

It seems to me that we're seeing a bit of an evolution here in terms of the (especially lower table) oppposing managers trying to change things up, make it more difficult for BRs strategy/gameplan to work, etc.
Teams are using different formations than usual to try and keep us in check. Its made for some tough moments, but we've managed to come out ahead each game.
What will be interesting to watch is (and I hope it never happens, and especially not in the remaining 8 games this year) if there is something they figure out that really gives BRs system fits, and what adjustments BR will make.
Interestingly enough, its these games against the bigger teams, that like to impose their own will and system on the opponent, that has seen some of our bigger score lines and dominance.

You guys remember Albert "Liverpool a sinking ship" Riera?
Well, at the time he was correct. A lot has changed in 4 years.

Hearing Riera was like a bat signal to me.
Riera had to have a 99 rating on crosses in Fifa 10. Dude was out of control on that game! Beast and I laugh about that to this day.
