Just got my St Andrew's Kindergarten acceptance letter for my little girl last week. Small world is right or it's just New Orleans.

Love that guy. Genuinely love.

Also, Brendan Rodgers has been in charge of Liverpool for 68 league games - and they have scored 153 goals in that period.
Incredible.
Incredible.

That's a remarkable number... Finally decided it was time to update the sig quote

That's 153 LEAGUE goals in that period. Sorry if I wasn't specific enough. But yeah, wow.

Suarez/Sturridge with 47 goals, 8 behind the record.

What say you?
Rest Gerrard or risk suspension?? He's picked up 7 in last 10 games, so he's a very high risk to get a 10th
LINK
or do you let him get a tactical booking during Sunderland to make sure he's back for City? Let Lucas or Allen fill in for Tottenham and West Ham

Another booking in any of Liverpool’s next four league games- Sunderland (H), Tottenham (H), West Ham (A) and Manchester City (H)- will see him pick up a very unwanted suspension. The FA’s official ruling is that if a player is booked 10 times between the opening day of the season and the second Sunday in April, he will receive a two-match ban.
The second Sunday in April is the day Liverpool host Man City at Anfield.

A tactical wouldn't be bad. He could play against Sunderland, get his rest against the Tots and West Ham and then be back for City.
I would really like for him to be back against Tottenham, though, but Stevie has been picking yellows up like its his job recently
ETA: It will be interesting to see how this plays out. We will desperately need his presence and leadership for City.

No way he gets through all three without a card the way he's been playing (especially since becoming our defensive force).
I would rather he play against Sunderland, get a tactical yellow (if not having one already naturally during the match), and then rest for a week and a half before City.
I'd rather risk Tottenham and West Ham without Gerrard than City. The City game, of course, isn't that big of a deal if we've already lost (because of Gerrard out) to Tottenham, etc., but you still have to like our chances of beating Tottenham without Gerrard better than our chances of beating City without Gerrard.

I agree.. so the consensus, so far, is to kick Lee Cattermole in the nads, correct?

I'd rather him poleaxe John O'Shea. I do agree with the tactical yellow and have him rest up for City. Lucas, Allen, and Henderson can boss Tottenham's midfield around.

quote:I think it wouldn't hurt for him to have a rest soon due to the volume of games we have this week so it's hard to argue with this seeing as he would likely get a rest anyway from his suspension. And being back for Coty definitely doesn't hurt

On a similar note...
I'm guessing Gus Poyet did his team no favors when he said that LFC would be a mid table team without Suarez, today in this PC...
I'd love to see us sit Suarez and smash him 4-0... and remind him Borini will be back with us this summer...
