Eades vs McCune. Who do you trust more?

Eades has been real shaky lately.... Nola and Glenn are our solid 1 and 2. When (if) we get to Omaha, who would you trust to start a game after that? McCune? Or eades? Or someone else?

Anyone that says eades is retarded. This isn't even a question. He can't even get out the first with a run.

Eades has definitely struggled, can't seem to find the strike zone lately.

Lately I'd trust Laird on the mound over Eades.

Idk how much I trust McCune after the injury but one this is for sure. Eades is scaring the ever loving shite out of me right now. The defense has saved him a couple times already.

I wonder if he is hurt and won't tell the coaches? They said on the radio his top stuff tonight is only 88 MPH--way off for Eades.

He isn't missing by a lot, I'm hoping he can settle down

I just want fricking strikes. That's it.

Every time he pitches I think its going to be the start where he gets back into form. But it seems to only be getting worse. If it were earlier in the season, i'd say he might need a week off to get his head on straight, or possibly a mid week start

I trust Bonvillian more than McCune.

This is true, but he rarely gives up more than 2 and after about the third he settles down and provides 3-4 shutdown innings.
He may be shaky to start, but he has been consistently shaky to start and pretty consistent with finding a groove after a few innings.
McCune is just inconsistent. Sometimes he looks great other times not so much.
With our bats, 2 runs is nothing. I'd go with the guy that is a known quantity (even if that is 1-2 runs early) than the guy that is unknown.

Eades would be a decent closer: he's only effective when Tigers are leading. No way can he handle the pressure of coming from behind. OU mistakes were his biggest asset today, unfortunately.
