Boiled Peanuts in Gulf Shores

Does anyone know a place in Gulf Shores that sells boiled peanuts? Not looking to drive too far to get them.

They aren't in season yet, so it might be just last years crop being boiled if you find any.
I'm interested if anyone finds any also as I will be there next week.
When going later in the summer, I've always found a few guys selling out of trucks or roadside stands in the area from interstate down to beach.

Just get a couple cans and heat them up with some Tony's.

You can get them year round down there. They are usually frozen and thawed which is fine with me. Their season lasts much longer than ours in Louisiana.
Cans are disgusting as are the frozen bags like Hawks. You can get them by the interstate in Loxley but we drove in too late

Good deal.
I usually will freeze some for later use, but I ran out already.
I love sitting on my balcony on beach trips eating boiled peanuts and drinking beer.

There should be some at gas stations or farmers markets.

Oh, I know. Just thought you needed a quick fix. And you better sit on the balcony while you eat them unless you want to enjoy boiled peanut farts all week.

Why does the location of where you eat them make you fart?
Are there any farmers markets in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach?

Go to the market when in season and buy 20-30 lbs of fresh GREEN peanuts. Boil em up and put them in 1lb. zip locks just like you would fish and freeze.
They will last for a year and be just as fresh as the day you put them in the freezer.
That's how I make it through football season with good fresh non slimey shelled goobers.

Dried peanuts that are boiled are not a thing specific to the year harvested.

Dried is not the same as green.

The help portion of the post, Clark, was putting away enough during season so that you never run out.
You knew that arse was gonna be going to the beach again before fresh greens were back in season.

I never bring them to the beach because you can buy them right off the interstate. We got there too late and they were closed. Your help isn't very helpful now that I am here.

Some guy sells them almost year round in Perdido Key. In Gulf Shores I would check Peir 33

I found this address online, I don't know if it is still there:
Gulf Coast Farmers Market
20115 State Hwy 135
Gulf Shores, AL 36542
Saturdays 8 Am - Noon
I would check Pier 33 as well.

They have a very small farmers market on Saturday morning at the State Park Pavillion bt GS and OB. I have been hitting the one on Palofax in downtown Pensacola. Huge selection of fruits, veggies, cheeses, eggs, and pastries. Then I stop at Joe Pattis on the way out for seafood.
