SIAP

He also says that the starters on his defense are as good as any other school in the country but he needs to develop the backups more.

CHIEF! He is also correct, by the end of the year our D will be just as good as last year's but it won't HAVE to be. 11-1 and we win the Natty!

Good, those players assuming starting roles for the first time need to read something other than LSU's defense being suspect in 2013.

The fact is LSU is now a major player in CFB. Arguably one of the top 5 programs. LSU will get everybody, and i mean EVERYBODY's best shot...We just can't show up and expect to win (see Sam Montgomery comments). The talent is there. If they play with a chip on their shoulder with something to prove and the coaches develop smart game plans that the players execute, we could surprise and pull out 11 wins. But they have to show up EVERY GAME!!!

I noticed the article said that Coach Kragthorpe (I know he isn’t coaching right now) made the event. I’m happy to know that he is able to make the rounds and hope he can contribute for a long, long time.

Da Chief has spoken.

Does anyone really think he will put a turd on the field? He has put out great defenses with less OVERALL talent. This defense just doesn't have established stars

Momentum is a huge aspect of this game. If they go out and SHUT-DOWN TCU the defense will look excellent the rest of the year up until after the bama game. Depending on the outcome they could lose that fiya or play on as observed by opposite results the past two years.
If the offense can be effective in both passing and running that will be a huge booster to the defense as well.
I'm anxious about this year, but in the chief we trust.

Does this mean Barrow finally moving to Mike? Also incoming freshmen gonna be a big part of the 2 deep, summer camp will be very important.

So basically he confirms what we all know/fear? Depth and experience will be an issue. The 1st team is fine but any injuries and we're not looking so pretty. Especially in a few spots on defense, namely DT/DE.
