I think Kate McKinnon could do a good job as anchor, but I'm not sure she has the consistent writing chops. 
Hader would be great, but that would mean no more Stefon (but I think Stefon needs to die).
My WAY CRAZY prediction:
Jay Pharoah will be the next SNL Weekend Update anchor.
