That's not accurate.

I don't think it's a big deal. His velocity was down slightly this week, but the conditions weren't exactly conducive to throwing 95 MPH either. Given the wind conditions, I would have to assume the mentality was to get the ball over the plate first and foremost. There weren't going to be any homeruns hit that night even if the ball was thrown right down the middle. After UF gave us a couple runs in the fifth and we were up 3-0, Nola really just needed to throw the ball right down the middle of the plate.

I tend to think his lower velocity was due to the weather. It was fricking cold.

I am not worried about Nola at all, hopefully we get up early friday and can pull him after 6.
