Update to my previous post on the crime stats:
The rate of 3.76 in 2001 was only for selected crimes - mostly violent crimes.
This link is for all crimes in 2009... LINK
Based on this the number of arrests for the general population of 100 18 to 22 year old males over a 3 year period would be
(4.39 + 4.47 + 4.28 + 3.92 + 3.62) * 3 =
62.04 arrests.
Even Missouri's rate of 15 is much less than that but still quite high for an 'educated' population.
