old or new box
go
mine is either when USC's coach came to the 3rd base bleachers to get security to remove the fan who yelled about his wife
also, for anyone who sits at 3rd base (in the old box) a guy from the bleacher creatures brought a live goat in with him one day

When I hit a homeun onto Nicholson in 1997

One of my favorite memories there was rooting for UNC Wilmington to beat Tulane in a regional game. Let's go Seahawks!
I hope to make some memories of the new box on Saturday.

Nothing really to do with baseball itself...but it would be spending time with my dad. Just me and him

I remember that game with dad. Oh the smell of the ballpark, the popcorn, the hot dogs, his incontinence and lack of bowel control.
Yep, those were the days.

Going to summer baseball camps in the 90's and listening to Skip give one of his motivational speechs.

Post-season double header in 97 where we scored like 40 runs.

1990 regional, no comparison
it was three intense games with usc
it was loud
it was dramatic
everytime boone came up he was capable of hitting a hr
weather delay
hot
that team had nothing left when they got to omaha
paved the way for 91 team
came after dramatic 89 regional in college station
it was before lsu was hosting every year so every seat was taken

Why did y'all go to the Box when there was no game or practice? That's trespassing.

Favorite memory would be me & my Pop, in the way early Bertman years before you needed season tickets to have a good seat, driving up for the sat double headers & just buying a general admission ticket & basically having the pick of almost any seat; as there were only about 200-400 there.
Favorite baseball memory would be the regional, maybe 1990, against USC, those games were EPIC!

Last game ever at the Box. Back to back to back bombs. Coolest thing I've ever seen in person at a sporting event.

That 1990 regional against USC was a Box classic. Neither team liked each other & it showed in the incrediable level of intensity for each game. But for pure fun, every time LSU played O.Miss when J.Gibbs was the black bears' HC. Everytime he left the dugout to walk to the mound, more than a few Tiger fans would hold up recorders & played a tape of B.Cannon's punt return: loud. Gibbs, for those too young to know, was the punter who kicked the ball to Cannon. As the wkend series went on, he got madder & madder each trip to the mound. Or when a left field nut rolled a basketball out towards 3rd base where the weenie's 3rd baseman .... a weenie b.player, too....stood. He had to go get it & was abused unmerciably.
