Sic and I were both on the original version of the game.. I know some people had mentioned they might want to start on a new server.. but honestly, I played for only 4 months before before they took the servers down.. people had been playing the game forever before then.
I was able to jump in and make all the money I needed without any trouble.. they also reset the money way down. On top of that, you will have people to help you if you come to a established server.. you will also have craftsman that can make all your gear, so you can always get good stuff.

I was under the assumption that they wiped everything. In retrospect that doesn't make sense because that'd royally piss the vets off. I'll roll with you guys.
