The redwing blackbirds have been keeping the sparrows at bay. I saw a hawk last week with a bird flying off, but it does not appear that the hawks have focused in on the feeder yet. I would love to get pics of a hawk attack...

Another benefit of the feeding is watching the Coopers. They fly low through the neighborhood targeting Eurasians. The hit is impressive. I have one that appears almost the same time every evening for his bedtime snack.
