I''ll just say that if you check my posts before the draft you'll see I was firmly against taking an OLB. LT was obviously the way to go but we had no shot at that so my backups were S, CB, and WR(pretty much in that order). We basically got two for one deal in Vaccaro.

I was pumped about the pick once I watched some highlights and read some writeups (catiously optimistic before that).

I'm one of the few that's been saying we have NFL ready guys (one that's played a good number of snaps as a 3-4 OLB) that are fast and have shown they can rush.

Galette and Wilson's issue was they were undersized DEs and a liability against the run on an already poor run d. That's why they didn't get more chances. They were money rushing last year though. I think Galette was tied for second in sacks(iirc) despite playing about 25% of the snaps.

Nobody knows if Jones will even make the transition yet.
