40:55 (yikes) could not shed Austin's block in the slot, RB for a long gain

I'm slow...
4:15 tries to arm tackle Buie up high and Buie breaks it for like 25 yards.

Ok instead of posting i skimmed thru the whole game when WV had the ball. I am trying to be as objective as possible. This is my thoughts after watching just this game.
We should have drafted Tavon Austin! kidding but the kid will be a stud in the NFL.
Back to Vacarro. I believe he will be a decent NFL player with a long career. But not at one point did his play make you say wow. To me he didnt look like the 15th best player in this draft.
He had some good tackles and a couple bad angles. He did a good job in zone coverage but had a couple plays where the WR created separation. Man to man skills are there as long as he can Jam the receiver off the line. I saw about 5 or 6 times where Austin came open but Geno either didnt look his way or Geno was allready sacked. The Texas Dline dominated in this game. And my final note is that too many times Kenny was blocked by 5'8 175lbs Tavon Austin.
A lot of other tape to watch but after watching this game and focusing on him, it doesn't think it justifies him as the 15th Overall pick in this years draft. Ive seen other Texas games and felt the same way. That he never wows you to think he is gonna be special. Again this is the only game i watched and focused solely on him.

OK I'm gonna stop watching. LSUFreek is ON it.
Sounds like he's doing well.

the play that stands out the most is when he came from the opposite side and ran down Tavon from behind on the reverse.
When was this one?

He was also playing in nickel

50:05 beautiful shoot the gap tackle for loss; was lined up as an OLB. Man he looked quick when he recognized the breakdown in the backfield.

the first clip of Vaccaro (just scrolling around) I saw was him missing a tackle right before WV's first TD

Really? You're in a thread where his name is displayed prominently.

57:40 in on a swarmed out WR screen. Didn't actually make the tackle, but he can get there in a hurry

58:12 blankets Tavon in the slot; Geno sacked/fumbles; Texas recovers ball for a TD in the endzone

I'm just wondering...is there any other games out there to analyze...like Oklahoma or Kansas State? I'd like to hear the verdict on his performance in those games where they gave up 63 and 42

1:03:45 blankets Tavon; Geno throws elsewhere
