Don't renig on the deal now. Mine is leaking fluid so it needs to be changed soon

Steering stabilizers do not fix anything. While they may make the wobble softer, the root problem still exists. I ran my TJ for years without a SS.

The SS isn't necessary, but it makes driving much better at highway speeds in Louisiana. A lot of people run without them, a lot of people run without swaybar links as well.
